A warm welcome to you !

My name is Dr. Günter Walter,

I have decades of experience as a general manager, management consultant and entrepreneur in telecommunications / information technology, healthcare / life sciences, renewable energies, waste disposal and recycling.

I hold a degree and a PhD in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science from Prof. W. Giloi with the thesis "A data flow architecture for the simulation of continuous systems" (Dipl.-Ing. / Dr.-Ing. Technische Universität Berlin) and was a lecturer in Software Engineering at the Technische Universität Berlin. Book publication about Structured Programming.

I am an alumnus of the TUB-Technische Universität Berlin and PwC-Price Waterhouse Coopers. Also member of the GI (Gesellschaft für Informatik) and ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) since 1977.

I gained my first management experience as a research and development manager in software development and as a board assistant in a multinational ITC company.

After that I worked as a managing director and board member in various national and international management consulting companies as well as a company founder and managing partner.

My work for production and trading companies focuses on process reengineering, business models for disruptive innovations, digitisation strategies, software development, project management and business start-ups.

We consistently perceive worldwide globalization with increasing economic interdependencies between individual countries, international competition between locations, the blurring of industry boundaries and the migration of new technologies and lifestyles as a constant challenge for us, our customers and partners.

Within the scope of this change, every company is offered lucrative opportunities to open up profitable production locations and new procurement / sales markets, if the threatening risks are identified at an early stage and innovative, competitive business processes are specifically aligned to them.

The WuP Group supports its customers and partners, regardless of industry sector, in recognizing innovative threats at an early stage and facing the challenges of profitably replacing no longer competitive, traditional business processes with disruptive business models.

In a business transformation, the success of companies lies more than ever in their ability to quickly and inexpensively adapt their business processes to optimise or reposition their business areas at all levels in a highly flexible manner in line with market and customer requirements.
The targeted implementation of disruptive business models in day-to-day operations often fails due to management resources that are not available at short notice.
Ideally, the most appropriate management resources for effective business transformation would be efficiently infused into corporate processes at the right time.
By means of a customised "Just-In-Time-Management", we ensure a dynamic "just-in-time" integration of external management services for our customers.
In this context, "Just-in-time" means: exactly then and as long as there is a specific requirement.
With just-in-time management, the otherwise fixed personnel costs are only incurred as variable process costs if the necessary management services are actually provided.
